HUB MODEL STORYLINE
1995 – HUB concepts in art form notarized and applied for copyrighted. Author presents at the ASU annual Nursing Alumni
Breakfast on the “Future of Nurse Practitioners where the vision for HUB is mentioned.
1996 - Art form and design copyrighted by the US Library of Congress. The author was nominated Scientist of the Year by the Black engineers and Scientist of Arizona.
1997 – HUB model presented in poster session and panel discussion in the National Black Nurses Phoenix Arizona Association (NBNA), Manuscript for HUB copyrighted.
2001 – HUB self published and printed by the Bermuda Press. Power point presentation for the Bermuda Nurses’ Association (BNA), on HUB: “A Revolutionary Approach to Health Care.
2002 – HUB model exhibit and book signing at the NBNA conference, Los Angeles California.
2003 – Author nominated to serve on NBNA nominating committee. HUB model books donated as promotional items.
2005 – Development of HUB research and program ideas with trademark applications.
2007 – Trademark applications submitted to the US Patent and Trademark Office (PTO).
2008 – HUB trademark approved for use in trade and commerce by the US PTO, Published by the Washington Official gazette on March 11, 2008.
Applications for HUB trademark, submitted to the Bermuda Registrar General and Published in the Bermuda Sun on January 16, 2008.
2008 - HUB Power Point presentations, consultations, education, promotion items, banner, flyer and HUB book sales; NBNA conference and exhibit in Las Vegas August 6-9, 2008.
2009 – HUB model published in the Bermuda Sun on January 16, 2009.

Marketing
HUB model has been donated to many countries as far away as South Africa, Kenya, Ireland, England Canada, Kosovo, Guam and the Caribbean and distributed for educational purposes. Proceeds from book sales were donated to the BNA in 2001; during presentation.
HUB has been sold in the Washington Mall bookstore, the Phoenix Bookstore, Bermuda, Bermuda International Airport, Los Angeles 2002 and Las Vegas 2008.

HUB is advertised in conference brochures Power Point presentations and displayed the on a 5x4’ banner, business cards, promotional items such as note pads and books. Promotional items including the HUB book have been given away and sold on other occasions. Teaching, instruction, counseling, consultation and presentations conducted for individually and group. Presentations of the model are captured in flash design to further describe and explain the concepts and possibilities.
