The framework for HUB is based on the belief that all outcomes, good, bad or indifferent are the direct result of behavior; individual, group, society, environment and income status. The dictionary definition of behavior refers to the way one acts.

Many behavior theorists believe that the way one acts or behaves, is learned or taught from experience, culture, beliefs and attitudes (feelings, opinions and thought processes, that affect the way one thinks. This definition may shed light on the way forward and change our thinking about prejudices, labeling and discriminatory practices; example, the non-compliant patient/client or ghetto mentality.
